Why Bloom Social & Co. exists
When I left Lifestyle Media Group in 2022, I wasn't planning to build a social media agency. I opened my own marketing business as a fractional marketing director and kept doing what I'd always loved: helping businesses grow. Websites, email, branding, PR, events, social. Whatever they needed, I was part of the team.
Then, in 2025, one project changed everything. I was preparing for the first-ever South Florida Mental Wellness Summit & Expo, and I decided to go all in on social to promote it.
I started a brand-new Instagram account with a simple goal: not to go viral, but to educate, build a community, and start real conversations around mental health.
Six months later, that account had gone from 609 views to 39,000, with only 465 followers. And by the time the Summit arrived on October 23, 2025, we'd sold out the event, sold out our sponsorships, and welcomed a packed room to our very first one.
That was my “aha” moment. It hadn't come from a viral video or a lucky trend. It came from a real plan, showing up consistently, and content made with purpose. I didn't just believe in social anymore. I'd watched what it could do.
So in January 2026, I rebranded as Bloom Social & Co. and made social media my whole focus. I still keep a few long-term marketing clients, but social is where I saw what's possible when it's done with intention, and it's what I help my clients do every day now.
Beyond the business.
I'm a South Florida native, and except for when I was in Gainesville for college, this has always been home. After graduation, I came right back, where I've built my career, raised my family, and stayed involved in the community I love.
Family has always been the center of my life. I'm a proud mom, a dog mom, and I love Sunday nights when my boys come over for dinner. It's our time to catch up, laugh, and just enjoy being together.
I'm also a huge Florida Gators fan. College football season is my favorite time of year, and Saturdays in the fall are the best.
One of my favorite things is connecting people. I love introducing people who should know each other, connecting someone with the right resource, or bringing people together around a cause. It's something I've always enjoyed, and it's one of the reasons I love what I do.
Community matters.
Giving back has always been a big part of my life. Over the years I've been fortunate to serve on nonprofit boards, advisory councils, event committees, and leadership groups across South Florida, supporting causes ranging from mental health and suicide prevention to children's organizations, animal welfare, cancer research, education, and community outreach.
Today, that passion continues through Bloom Connect Project, Inc. and the South Florida Mental Wellness Summit & Expo, but it started long before those organizations existed. Community has always been part of who I am, and it's one of the reasons I care so deeply about helping local businesses grow.

Before Bloom Social & Co., I spent more than 15 years helping businesses grow through publishing, advertising, partnerships, and marketing leadership. As Associate Publisher at Lifestyle Media Group, and earlier at Larel Media, I worked across some of South Florida's most recognized titles. That's where I really learned that audience and reputation are built on relationships, not just numbers.
That thread runs through everything I do now, from Bloom Social & Co. to Bloom Connect Project, Inc. The channels have changed, but the belief hasn't: the best work comes from understanding people and showing up for them consistently.
